Our registered nutritionist is an expert in the field of food and nutrition and will teach patients the good and bad effects that various foods have on the body.  We promote good health with the therapeutic use of diet and exercise in the treatment of weight loss and coping with the effects that excess weight may have had on disease processes and complications that patients may be experiencing.

I am your Health & Wellness Coach, Lilia Mleczko.  I am here to work with and support you through your bariatric procedure and weight loss journey.

 

My mission as Health Coach, is to create a supportive environment that will enable you to achieve your health and weight loss goals. I have studied major dietary theories and use practical lifestyle coaching methods with a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that I look at how all areas of your life are connected.

 

Lilia Mleczko is a Certified nurse practitioner for the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Oakland University in 2004 and Masters of Science in Nursing from the Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner program at Wayne State University in 2015, graduating from both programs with honors.

 

Prior to joining our team, Lilia worked at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital as a Registered Nurse for over 3 years specializing in Intensive Care medicine and trauma, Beaumont Hospital for 4 years in Intensive Care medicine, 3 years in Clinical Informatics and 3 years in Emergency medicine and trauma.
